July 4th weekend 2014

We had planned on going to go and visit my brother and his family in D.C. while they were between countries, but due to Colette getting sick we had to turn our weekend from a roadtrip to a family fun staycation! Adam had taken an extra day off on Monday since he would have the previous Friday off for the Fourth of July! We got a glorious four days in a row as a family. Even though our sweet Colette was sick, she was still happy. We spent the fourth itself making shishkabobs over the fire at Meema and Beebas and then swimming at the Evert's pool and eating pizza with the Koepkes. Then of course we had our traditional family game night! The next day Adam and I got to go on two dates! Got to love staying at my parents! We played tennis...and I beat him. Nine months pregnant and everything! Then we went and saw Divergent at the Dollar Theater and stopped over at the Coffee House for a drink. Sunday we all went to Greenfield Village!
