Balloon Fest

So, now that we live in Livingston County we feel an obligation to attend and partake in all the glories that it is known to hold. One of which is Balloon Fest. I guess it is one of the largest flights of hot air balloons. Dad and I took Colette. Rain sprinkled down on us as we walked around the festival, watching kids on rides and playing games, eating an elephant ear, watching a juggler and eventually sitting down to watch the balloons lift off. Due to weather they couldn't leave the ground...huge bummer. Plus they took forever just to fill with air. Colette was bored. I was bored. But once the balloons took shape it made it somewhat worthwhile!! Maybe when the kids are older and can stay up later we'll go to see when they light them up at night. But until then, at least I got some good pics!
